ENROLMENT DATES
To apply for enrolment at Avonside Girls’ High School, please apply online from the 1st June. No accompanying letters, school reports, or testimonials are needed as they have no effect on the outcome.
Enrolment Dates
- Applications Open (All Levels) – June 1
- Applications Close (All Levels) – July 28
- Ballot held – August 2
- Notification of Offer of Place for Year 9- August 2, after Ballot is held.
- Last day for acceptance/decline – August 14

ENROLMENT INFORMATION
Avonside Girls’ High School is a popular school and is frequently oversubscribed. The Board operates an enrolment scheme to prevent overcrowding or the likelihood of overcrowding at the school. Each year the Board will determine the number of places that are likely to be available in the following year for the enrolment of students who live outside the home zone. The Board will publish this information by notice in a daily or community newspaper circulating in the area served by the school. The notice will indicate how applications are to be made and will specify a date by which all applications must be received.
