Issy Stock was part of the NZ Speed Skating Team who went to Brisbane over Easter to compete in the 2023 Oceania Championships, she was the only skater from Christchurch selected for the team. The team competed in a number of races over two days including a marathon on the third day. This was Issy’s first year in the junior grade for females under 19 years of age.In the junior female 5k relay NZ took the first, second and third place over Australian teams. Issy and two of her team members took second place and won silver medals. Issy also performed in the 42k marathon and finished in 4th place.
