By the end of year ten Avonside Girls’ High School ākonga will:

• Understand and model cultural inclusion, with an emphasis on recognising that within Aotearoa, New Zealand Māori and Pākehā are full treaty partners,

• Experience deep learning opportunities that develop their full potential as individuals. They will understand how to learn, which in turn, will strengthen their intrinsic motivation for learning,
• Connect and contribute to the wider community. They will understand that this connection with a wider community provides opportunities and pathways for authentic, relevant learning.
